Good idea; I would suggest it just be pair of titles. One for someone that is faction aligned, but under 60 in fame and another for those 60+. Fame alone should NOT determine it though. If you are +30 in Kara fame, but are still officially a neutral, you shouldn't get the title, IMO. You're title should reflect your conscious choice of faction and not just your fame.

The goal is to give those that are Faction-aligned a way to broadcast that fact without having to be PvP enabled all the time.

why so complex ? when you turning to either side, you are doing rite. just add "Karavaneer" / "Kamist" titles for title rewards and if you renounce your cult status, then take that title back.
it's simple and easy.

as for neutrals, there is title "Homin" already. why start caring about us now ? leave us alone.

Personaly I think one for each would be enough:-

Kamist
Karavaneer
Trytonist

All gained/lost on completion of the Cult Rites or becoming Neutral , if one of those doesnt fit your character you still have the "Homin" title , further Titles like "Kami Champion" should be tied to Events or Rites (+Fame lvl requirement)

Sure, OK.

I was actually just reponding to Noin's suggestion and simplifying that a bit to better line it up with the game mechanics, but a simple, single title based on a faction choice is good too. In fact that sounds really familiar... oh yeah, that's because that's what I first suggested when I accidently stole Jayce's idea.

I agree fully. Make the title available when you complete the Cult Rite and make it dissapear when you revert to neutrality. But I' d rather see more lore-fitting titles than just bland Karavaneer/Kamist.

'Disciple of Jena' and 'Acolyte of Ma-Duk' would fit a lot better as both give more meaning to the Cultstatus. And perhaps someday if and when Nevrax decides they have time again to work on more Rites, they can always add more Cult Rites that let you progress upwards in the Church of Jena or the Word of Ma-Duk with new titles according to status in the hierarchy.

Neutrals already have 'Homin' indeed, no need to add something there. As for Trytonists ... I don' t see a point adding a title there as Trytonism still is a rather secretive sect, with various among those climbing up in the other Factions; why give away your cover? And I don' t see that changing should Tryton even rise to 'godhood' or claim his position as the Tryker' s 'Holy Father'.


Agreed with Petej; give more chances to earn Kami/Karavan maybe even Homin Champion titles either through events or Rites. There' s a lot that are envious of those and not all have had the pleasure of having played for that long or been at that event. (other titles are always welcome as well; they don' t specifically need to be 'Champion' titles)
