Spriteh - well done on time and place info! It appears the human brain can survive digging 90k mats after all - I've had some personal doubts about that. Btw, I'm in the market for jewel mats too if you'd like dig some more

Youre getting involved in the part of the game you claim to be excluded from. The fact of that matter is youre not excluded - as you have shown - you can take part as much or as little as you would like to. there's still plenty else to do on atys - if you dont want to pvp you do not have to. its like me saying well ive been excluded from the whole digging/crafting part of the game cause i dont like digging. i dont really see your logic at all.

I have to disagree... The issue is that Outpost rewards such as crystals and OP Mats and Consumables are _ONLY_ available from outposts. If you wish to benefit from these then you _have_ to do PvP, even though these items are not PvP related directly.

Just cos you don't like PvP doesn't mean you dont wanna play around with those new crafting plans, get extra XP from hunting or whatever...

Let's not let this thread turn into another one about the new content and how it is or is not all pvp-related and how that does or does not exclude people from these things such as xp crystals and outpost mats. Both stances on that issue have been well documented on these forums, and, frankly, that horse was flogged to death a long time ago.

This thread is an invitation for those that like the idea of an outpost for those who don't have outposts to come along and assist in the creation of such a thing. So, if you like the idea and are able, come along to help. If you don't like the idea, don't come along to help. It should be that simple.

So, to that end: I'll be there

No you don't, you only have to 'do' PvP to Own/defend an OP, you can happily trade for OP goods with any OP owner without ever having been to an OP battle. Ownership of an OP just gurantees a supply. So in a sence the guranteed reward of OP material+ crystals's cost is the Consent of PvP.

There are also those the would love to own an OP for the PvP aspect alone, and those that would love to have regular battles.

As a have-not and effectivly solo, i do not expect to own a OP realistically (Though i tried). I trade for the crystals and material, often getting them for free, partly as crafting payment partly for efforts assiting allies. A have not is only as have not as they wish to be, seldom are OP items handed to me on a plate.

Bah to Lath posting too . My caveat is that taking an OP is for all intent and purpose PvP. Aquiring OP materials if that is your desire does not require owning an OP.

No because it also gives other ppl the chance to interact with you in the way they see fit YOU cant control that , not saying thats a bad thing in itself but it can be and more to the point it isnt only how YOU make it

Being excluded from Digging because you dont like Digging
isnt the same as
Being excluded from Outposts because you dont like PvP

In your example both sides are the same , you dont like one thing so youre excluded from that one thing , in mine theyre different you dont like one thing you are excluded from that AND something else , the only way to obtain it is like has been done here -youre given it

Bah youre both making me sound like Jyudas , personaly im not Anti-PvP but I do understand that point of view and I hope Nevrax will eventualy bring in other means/forms of ownership/Outposts (and make the current PvP ones GvG instead of FvF -but thats going further off topic so il shut up)
