I'm sure there was a season change clock somehwere at some point.. anyone know what happened to it?

I counted the days from May 16, 2005 to March 8, 2006 to find Jel's age. 296 days total, divided by 18, produces 16.4. She was 18 when she came to the mainland. So 18+16.4=34.4.

1 Jena Year is 4 cycles. (It works out roughly, 1 jena year every 3 months). So, Jel would be 4 years older and not 16.4

That is correct, there are 16 seasons in a Jena Year.

True, but she counts her age in cycles. It makes more sense to her since Jena Years are artificial, rather than the natural time cycles of Atys.

Ahhh, I believe this not to be true. The 4 winters that are in the Jena Year are not the same naturally. They behave differently.

Now go figure on that for a while. Is it that there are multiple moons, or multiple solar entities, or multiple sources of life / life energy?
