Developer response ... What happened ???
Re: Developer response ... What happened ???
They've said already, a few times, that they're aware of it and are working on it. They haven't said more, I'm sure, because there's nothing more to be said about it. How is this even an issue?

Re: Developer response ... What happened ???
IF you were online last night, you would have seen some of the work. I could set my clock with the time the servers were shut down. For the last 3 days at exactly 1:30 am (EST) Windemeer was brought down and rebooted. They probably had to clear some queue, what do I know.
However, this night the lag issue arrised again. But, instead of resbooting the server it just evaporated. So, as you can see the problem IS being worked on and hopefully we can see the lagfree environment that we started out with.

I wasnt joking .. The fact that the lag hits at almost the exact same time each night would make it seem that whatever DB server they are using is doing a nightly backup and transaction log truncating. There really is no way around these types of maintenance but they can work on lessening the impact of them.
But I could be wrong
It seems they have also done some work on their network and things are getting better.

They've given us all the board chatter they can. See: Sticky.
They've alerted us personally in-game that the problem is known and is being taken care of. See: GM Shadowthorn.
