>_< yeah all master forager and master craftsmen will be greatful cause they have to buy picks n stuff even though they won't get XP

what's the kami pic for if ya can't do anything with it?

what's so bad about worn out ruban gum tools and egiros pics used by master forager and craftmen that won't get any xp either way?

I might be wrong but wasn't all changes up to now against crafters and harvesters? makeing things worse

is kind of frustrating if everything is changed to limit us :/

if one tool lasts forever, then it's not fun, is it ;-)

(by making worn out tools useless, makes op mats more valuable and rarer)

I agree broken tools should be unuseable.

Should Player X get to wear their broken Aen or Sirgio or Lixie armor forever just because they're only using heir master sword skill?

Should Anissa never need to make herself new amps ever again? ;)

Of course not. The point is everything in this game breaks and you need to get new if you want to stay on top.

Yeah, I'm up for everything breaking too, makes sense to me... Sucky as it may seem, it's more realistic isn't it. = )

I just wish the patch did what it said it was going to...

I'm all for the special stuff losing their "bonus" (either focus boost or the effect) but I think making them unusable sucks :( Its only 12 thousand mats worth of fullharm pulls per pick ! :o

Yeah, thats a point... for the trouble getting/making them they don't last to long eh...

I' d go as far as to say that it makes some tool materials rather unwanted for. Is it all the trouble worth to negotiate deals and sometimes pay very handsomely for an OP tool material that may break in a week or less? (talking about really dedicated foragers/crafters here)
It comes to a point imo where only Rubarn and Egiros become a lot more valuable, since they are so much better than the other tool materials. The higher rate of hp loss on these OP tools (and event tools for that matter) adds to it all.
Someone that wears out a foraging tool in 2 to 3 days can just destroy it and buy a new one; at that point, what' s 1k a tool going to do to your wallet?
But would it be worthwhile to invest a lot of time and resources in a foraging tool that breaks faster and benefits you with just 5% of no harmfull action? (given you' re not that clumsy to gas or explode yourself all the time :p )

Put that up against an Egiros tool and you know what you' ll want to invest in and in what not.
