Like the Chlorogoos, it seems that the Lagoon Brothers hate everybody, -66 initial fame with all races. Hmmm, both tribes are Trykers only.

So... should I bother ticketing it? Or wait to see if it gets patched?

Thanks for all your help so far!

Lagoon Brothers - Like Acorns, they are small and bitter

Zahan, can you list a few tribes you've been having trouble with?

Spoken with Tigane, currently making a list of all the KoS tribes. I'll post it when I get a bit more info, but it seems mainly Kara Tribes (esp Zorai Kara) hate me despite my neutrality...

Hmm...

Faction neutral does not mean your friendly with a tribe. Each tribe has it's own particular history (though it's one of the many unfinished projects). Some tribes don't care about faction, others race, and some take both into consideration. They care little of your neutrality, they care about your fame with them.

More Tribe Fame weirdness

Last night I decided to try and sort this out. Setting out in the Verdant Heights to track down and do mission for as many tribes as I could find I got three done. The Ecowarriors, Green Seed and Friends of the Weed (If I remember the names correctly) all loved me with an astonishing 83 fame after only one mission each!

Wierd I think, as a neutral surely my fame is capped at 50 like with all the other tribes? So yeah, I log off, and when I pop on this morning to check my DP the fame has indeed dropped to 50 (and the cap appears to be back in place at 50 instead of 100).

This morning I pick up missions for the First Deserters. In one mission my fame with them appears at 0, but my fame with the Matissian Boarder Guards drops like 14 points (from -1 to -15!).

Heh, I've run up over a million DP trying to meet all the Tribes I can just in Matis lands, it's pretty amusing though watching my fame bars do some kind of drunken stagger across the screen.

This is a known bug with the tribe fame tab. Anytime you do a mission for a tribe the fame bar moves to 100 and it is possible to keep doing missions until your fame is greater the the max cap for that tribe. Relogging resets the fame and max bar to their correct value.

Ok, fair enough, so initially (before I have "contact", IE before I do a mission) I am judged by my "race default" (based on character race, NOT citizenship). Then when I do a mission, it puts their fame bar on there, and when I relog all the Citizenship/Kult rules apply?

Eh... so doing a mission for them cost me 33 fame... :P
