That's when someone who you had been in a tell with logs off. Think of it in the same way as when you have their tell window open and they log off, that window disappears... If you already "hid" the window, it still "closes" and so you lose focus ;)

Aside from the second gate that's already there down the west side, south of the respawn/tp?

Ability to create temporary chat channels for use during multi-team outings. Make it generic enough that it can work for outpost battles as well as multi team hunting or trekking.

When I put my compass in "target" mode it should stay in target mode until I change it, not changing back to North when my target dies or when my target goes out of targetable range.

I use the "user window" for chatting (I am known as the MT King to some) I think this applies to all chat windows though. Editing an action, placing/editing a map marker, closing a tell window, and various other items, actually reset the last used chat window setting. Thus when you press "Enter" to start chatting, the chat window(the main tabbed window that is) opens and you are stuck in there. Until you go back and close that window, click in the chat window you want as your default, and hit enter to record it as your last used chat window.

EDIT: Put requirements back on shields.

EDIT2:
Compass resizeable so those long map marker targets can be read, and other reasons.

Filters(Class of Mat, Q of item, and Grade of item) for GH and Apartment Inventory.

I like the idea of being notified (as an option perhaps, either per-entry or global under the config options) when somebody on your friends list goes online/offline. Also, I have guild chat as a seperate tab and keep losing it when I log, is there any way to fix that?

Node Source Content. The source content should always be accurate in relation to the actual number of mats in the node. For example, why do we pop Choice mats with a source content of 12 when there are actually 100 mats in the node? IMO it only serves to frustrate foragers without just cause for doing so. The current cap of 30 seems fine since the most we can pull is 27 anyways. But, unless there are actually less than 30 mats in the node, the content should always be 30.

Apartment Crafting. When crafting at the stables, you have access to the mats in your packers without them having to be in your bag. I think it should be the same for apartments. When crafting from inside your apartment, you should have access to the mats in the apartment without them having to be in your bag.

Teleport Tickets. Having to re-buy your TP's everytime you use them is redundant and unnecessary and becomes quite frustrating if you happen to forget to re-buy it then have to trek to that location on foot all over again. Why not make it so TP tickets never leave your bag once you've aquired them, they become reuseable again and again.

More to come later I'm sure. :)

How about a one time amnesty for folks that might have been banned in the past for non-gameplay offenses ? This may bring the bad back in with the good, but establishes the line has been drawn and they should stay within it.

I have no dog in the race and won't be thrilled having some folks back. I just think that was handled very very poorly, especially the folks ganked within the first 72 hours or so of this edict...

Point was and has been made, there is no downside doing this for the community...
