We have had a "biggest loser" award in Gladiator competitions... Some things are easy to predict.

Imho there was never a chance for newbs in this competition...

It was more the judging being a total joke... inconsistent, colour-blind, 1-10 /random command using, pop- Idol/American-Idol copy cats!

Thats not judging, that was acting, trying to be 'funny'...
You might wanna add a warning to the small print on the next flyer "Note: You'll likely receive overly abusive comments and your scores may well be plucked out of the air"

Would have thought that the 'Atys Idol' name for the event kinda hinted at the style/parody of the event. regardless of who won and Judges 'interpretation' of fashion. There was an excellent display of armour combinations of colour, race and grade. Tho in hindsight perhaps fyros medium armour pants when on a stage so the audience gets a very good view of my bum, was perhaps not too wise.

There were a lot of great outfits out there, and it was fun to see everyone all dressed up. The problem was that the judges were biased and unusually cruel in their harsh comments. For example, when one judge referred to a contestants pants as a big diaper, that just could just have easily said "honey, those pants make you look like you wouldn't fit sideways through a barn door" or something just as snotty, but not nearly as insulting.

One judge even went as fas as making fun of someone's name. How is that supposed to be fun?

Let's not forget that there are real people with real feelings behind the avatars, eh?

The Atysian Armor Conference was clearly a joke. Stand up comedy at the prize of stylish and enthusiastic homins. I was appalled at the poor organization that was depicted at this event. How dare you allow these four poor characters to behave in such bias fashion? Four common homins, representatives of high fashion, claiming to be the epitome of fashion, and yet no other homins in attendance looked duller in their appearance. Above all the insults and disrespectful comments one judge was allowed to drink on stage and was allowed to continue in his abbreviated state. I could not even stand close to him while I was up there, he reeked of cheap firewine.


Furthermore the hostesses who tried to make things smooth was a supersize blunder. First she was late to start, registration took more time that it should had. Names were just called out and not even alphabetize. She never pointed out what each judge would be judging on. She allowed last minute registration. At one point she even made the mistake to read the same cue-card twice, and when it was pointed out to her, she was offended. And please someone tell her that Zorai light and white does not look good on her, sometimes showing less skin is easier on the eyes my dear.

As I stated before my servants have more fashion sense than the individuals who organized this event. I hope that the next organizers do a better job, and run this event as it should be run. And please have judges that are crafters in the field of fashion and know the stitch and work that goes into making these outfits. There were lots of great outfits and individual style present in this show to be ignored. Also a tip to the comedians, if you see lots of green color outfits, then it would mean green is in this season.

OOC: I had a blast and a good laugh but it took too long. After almost 3 hours I left and never got to see the mens show. I was happy to hear that Sashtan was the winner. Congratulations again Sash.

Glad I didn't show for this farce. Here I thought this was going to be serious, couldn't be if that Spriteh guy won.

Actually Sashtan wasn't declared the winner because she didn't sit through the 3.5 hours of event and left to help her guild. I believe the female winner was Ayur.
