Your all forgeting about Amber, even with it So easy to find most of the time, you still need 20 of it for each HQ amps

well i use medium armour for casting and melee both goes fine for me in

it only uses slighty more (hp) and (sap) but for that

i gain more hp and more protection and the penalty is so low i dont bother
