Remember, we are talking about a ql250 shield, with a 34 parry bonus!(even more it has no restrictions, but that' s another story)
Isn' t it normal they cost a fair amount of points? Same goes for the skirts and the foraging tools: they give an enormous benefit compared to all other non-event related items.
I say good call on increasing the costs on them. And thanks in advance for this patch.
PS: agreeing on the fact about carers a bit though.

Something I forgot about:
will the transferable rule of no drop items also apply to non-episode 2 related no drop tems like mission materials and refugee clothes?

Is there a reason you'd need to store mission mats that I am missing ?
I can almost see refugee clothes for the nostalgia, but they have little purpose either except to not leave us nekid. Now the "pre-order" armlet I been carrying over a year... that I would like to be able to store with my battle gear.

I agree wth the up in cost. The price of the rewards was pretty cheap. After all a pick only costs 1k dapper anyhow. You'd expect a pick with nfty bonuses to cost more than that.

I think the increase in cost of items is a bit steep, especially when you consider the relatively short life of the items. I mean, a pick just doesn't last very long for an avid digger. It doesn't seem like several thousand points for something you'll wear out in a couple of days is very good.

It is quite heavy handed for sure... I agree they were underpriced quite a bit, but there should be a grace period. This clearinghouse way of doing it is once again Nevrax showing that they don't get it.
Maybe a 2 week grace period to ensure ALL get to login on time to get things, then change prices. Sort of an "afterparty price" before things resume to normal prices. Our prizes have become a commodity.
They fixed a silly oversite, then smear a chance to have us overlook their error by forcing us to grab what we can before we log out...
It's just silly !

People wanted the patch like yesterday. So they're giving it to us tomorrow. I think its likely an all or nothing. Price changes would likely be another patch.
