Not one for making sweeping statements, but aren't the 'older' (i use this term loosely) players the ones who drive the MMORPG industry anyhow?

I'm sure the powers that be are aware of this (if in fact it is true), so I think that they must have been unaware that they would get the reaction they have from the changes as you don't want to alienate the driving financial force of your industry do you?

Indeed, I was under the impression that it was the job of the forum moderators to police forums.

When I look at the moderators for the English Speaking General forum I see three names Lawrence, Soulsnatcher and Shadowweb. Might I ask why the community liasion manager, who's initial introductory post (from Feb 2005) is at

Liasion First post(The link to the original announcement is no longer available)

now appears to be acting as 'policeman' on a forum where it is initially said he would not post:

"I won't intervene at all in the community-specific forums. I will only post in this forum."

Considering the possibilities of misunderstandings where language is concerned (also alluded to in the link), I think that the roles in this forum need to be reconsidered by Nevrax.

By the way, please do not take this as a personal attack, more a comment on the way these changes to the forum have been implemented.
