If you are a Karavan this will be on Wednesday 16th November at 8pm Gmt (3pm Edt) at Yrkanis followed in 15 minutes at Farihaven,

If you are a Kami please attend on Wednesday 16th November at 8pm Gmt (3pm Edt) at Zora followed in 15 minutes at Pyr.
Tidings,
Please post a summary after the event, please! My boss won't let me get off work 4 hours early for "a game". :(

Seconded (although I can normally make these things but not this one). Event writeups are usually very good so I wonder if there is another reason - like what they say is different on each server (different outcomes) so they don't want to put it here? I'm very confused by this as some are posted some aren't.

These writeups also allow us to add our own IC opinions and analysis and get more people involved if they read about something they want to be a part of next time. The statements should come from an official source so they aren't manipulated by players (and chatlogs are a pain to edit).

So for those who wasn't there. A littel and Prolly not very accurat acount of what was told by the karavan.

Karavan envoy shows up. Waves, and all the Npc disappear. Starts talking:
"Nicely done pepz. Now we can build in Yrkanis and Fairhaven. We didn't really win. But you prevented those Furballs from getting more than us. So thx for that.
To honor our heroes and Jena. We are throwing a party in Yrkanis on Saturday 10pm Gmt. Cya all there"

Ps. Ooh they also had an answer to one of our questions... Now what was it... Yes something about why the guilds mentioned in Lore didn't show up to help. Can't really remeber it and will prolly show up somewhere else.

Watryk
Remeber to have fun ;)

Homins I bring you the text of the Kami Envoy’s speech last night:

“My friends, gather together and hearken unto me!

We are now at the end of the adventure. The forest of Almati is depleted of all its resources making it pointless and dangerous to take the risk of disturbing the bark even more...

Every one of you did all that you could, and many raw materials have been processed to allow Ma-Duk to reveal his glory and might to all Atys.. You must know that the force of Ma-Duk is also your force! It is thanks to you and your travail that he will be able to use his power to actualize the most beautiful monuments of Atys which will be constructed in both Zora and Pyr!

A great ceremony will take place at the building sites of the monument in Pyr which I hope as many of you as possible will attend, the date will be Friday 18th November and the time 10pm Gmt. We must all now relax and rest after the weeks of hard endeavour and give thanks that the Karavan were not able to overcome us despite their early lead. We are shown to be their equal and will strive to surpass them in all future undertakings.

I am also here to answer a further question that has been posed about the old lands and the temple race.

Why do the official guilds not participate in the process?

The Guild of Cho, the Burning Faces, the Guild of Karavia and the Guild of Try are primarily in charge of the protection of the leaders of their race and they have their own duties to carry out on behalf of their leaders. Accordingly, their first role is not to fight in massed battles unless specifically tasked to do so. It is likely that the recent events had led the leaders to entrust some special missions to their faithful homin guardians.

May the rise of Kamis start now and continue in Ma-Duk's wisdom and grace, as we usher in a new dawn for Atys.”

And the speech of the Karavan Envoy:

“Homins, gather round and listen to the words of the goddess Jena through my speech!

Here we are now arrived at the end of this hard test of faith. The last raw material layers are now exhausted. You have performed an amazing feat, many thousands of materials have been collected and transformed. Jena will be able to use your efforts to create glittering temples that proclaim her power and majesty for all to witness.

As you are already aware, the demonic Kamis are also creating sanctuaries dedicated to the power of Ma-Duk. Do not let this however dampen your crusading zeal, and never waver in your belief in Jena's superiority. For although they equaled our best efforts, you made certain that they were not allowed to triumph and they will not build more sanctuaries than we will construct temples.

I can announce that temples will be built in both Yrkanis and Fairhaven, and that once they are created, it will be time to celebrate the blessed Light of Jena. We will gather together, and the deserving Homins among you will be rewarded as is your very due. This will take place on Saturday 19th November at 10pm Gmt at the construction site in Yrkanis.

I am also here to answer a further question that has been posed about the old lands and the temple race.

May Jena be with you!”

It'd be nice if a little more consideration was given to the N.A. players when choosing times for these events. Mid-late afternoon EST on a weekday doesn't allow for most N.A. players to have a chance to attend. The same time on a weekend, however, would be a different matter.

For simple announcement events like yesterdays, please bring back the system where you did the event twice, once during the prime-time European play hours and once during the N.A. play hours.

I don't think they could've done this one twice since all the NPC's disappeared when they came to give the announcment. Don't think it would've had the same effect.

Still agreed that they maybe shoulda done it a little later so more NA people could've attended.

The percentage for getting a temple built was 50%. We only had 40% on the Tryker Kami temple.

No Kami temple in the lakelands? After all that hard work? After the Trykers made the sacrifice at the start and worked on the Fyros and Zorai-based temples? What a gyp!

Well at least I got paid.
