I think the rewards are gonna be considerably more lame. But I think lame is ok as long as it's relevant, for example: A yubo-fur and homin-skin t-shirt with "I was ganked" imprinted on it.

I couple of possible gifts based on existing rewards:-
To the best crafters. Anyone who crafts in the guild gets a durability bonus.
To the best foragers: Every member of the guild gets +50 to focus.

this event's rewards aren't those things, afaik
