I really like this idea. In my "dye" idea, I had envisioned that each dye slot (primary, secondary, trim) took multiple mats, perhaps up to 10. By mixing and matching the colors you put in the 10 spots, you could make all kinds of in-between colors. Like if you put in 8 white dyes and 2 red, you could have fancy pink armor! ;)

I would love anything that let me make the difference between different jewel sets obvious. Dont really fancy using tryker for focus.

forgot bout that...many emotes just share an animation which is sometimes a bit unrelated...Probably overhauling the emotes animation is bit too much work but the ones used heavily should get their own distinct animation

[eg. bow/wave have the same animation...would be cool if /wave actually made the character erm.. wave]
aylwyne wrote:I've always liked the idea of having more control over the colors of armor. I don't like that it's tied directly to the grade of material. Some of the colors on the basic/fine mats can make some fine looking armor (HQ beige, etc.) but the stats on the armor end up being bad because you have to use a lot of basic/fine mats.

Here's an idea I posted a LONG time ago....

I would also like to see a separate "dye" type of material that can be used in crafting to override the natural color of the materials used.
it would be nice to have a dye system...anything personalising the armour would be most welcome and as my fav armour colour is turq i'd most certainly like to dye the armours that way

i recall some other post/request about putting the guild emblem on ur armour if u want...that would be hard to do but would look really cool

PS.the tone used was more for a comical/whining atmosphere :o

More important will be, that the text to the emotes goes with the gender of the character. I find it annoying that my girl toon is referred as 'he' in the emotes.

It's the same with invites and stuff. They're all mixed up.

Couldn't this small 'bug' have been tidied up during the spring clean?

Got an answer on the gender probs at IRL. Its on the list of things to be done, but such a low priority, dont expect to see it done for a very long time.

Imho, there would be basically two ways of doing this. One, would imply adding the code to identify the gender of the emoting source (this information is already available to the client) and switch according to gender. The other, would be to change the sentences so they are gender neutral. The latter would, imho, require less work. Examples (don't mean to be real, just examples):

- Seren invites you to his guild
- You have been invited to Seren's team

- Seren wants to show you how happy he is
- Seren is so happy and wants you to know.

A few hundred emotes, 3 languages, text file... 3 man - day? (just guessing)

And for the "priority" thing. I agree, to some extent. It was stated that changes like the 'title spreadsheet' ("it's only a XML file") could be worked in paralel. And fixing this would give a nice touch of "caring for details", like polishing the corners.
