Nope.
We have selected about 50 of you for the phase 1 of the alpha test, based on displayed interest and skills

i hope it's programming, scripting, dubugging and testing skills :D

Well, I am not a betatester, but I hope the skilled chosen people are the ones that has been making events and enjoyments for others with the tools we had until now, the yuboball-players, the skilled roleplayers, those arranging pub nights, the battlefield strategists. Then we have great content from day 1!

And how exactly would they see those? No computers or programming in Atys, so no need for our chars to disdplay any such skills.

I am a highly trained engineer IRL, my char is a doofus. All Nevrax 'sees' is my char, but not me behind the screen.

people who send in very detailed and correct bug tickets are usually people who are good at logic thinking (scripting, testing, etc)
or you can just notice it in what people say

I think it'd be better to have people who aren't experts. No better way to test usability amd simplicity to make sure it's accessable to everyone.

nah, 1/3 test experts, 1/3 event experts, 1/3 non-experts, should be better :)
