Bingo! I use 1280*1024 windowed, which is the rez of my 17" monitor. One maximised ryzom window on one monitor allows me to browse the forums / net and play music on the other. Once bitten!

Go into Game Configuration and under Graphics|General there is a tickbox saying Fullscreen. Uncheck it and bob's your uncle

Aye, its kinda confusing cause the login screen pretends to let you switch it... but you need to run your config dohickie.

From there you can go to graphics... and uncheck fullscreen. Leave the default settings, and load game. Then you can manually stretch the screen to where it fills the screen to the desired amount, and keeps Ryzom porportional....

you'll need to readjust your ingame boxes... like the chat window and health bars... hands... etc.. move them to the proper position, and then push F4. to save the settings. (then each time you log in, with that computer push F4, to revert to your newly saved window arrangement)

monitor res is at 1280x1024 - ryzom is windowed at 1024x768
