Only thing I see the market good for atm is for people who do not care about selling to either side probably selling at over inflated prices.
That would be me, finally getting some things sold. Not at over-prizes yet, but soon this war will make me rich.

Selling wares to the enemy should be on the merchants' conscience, but still the king have not prohibited them from doing so.

That will make a few peeps rich as they buy and resell tot he other side.

go look in the matisian NPC vendors.

I have put loads of HQ zorai amps at around the q200 mark on the merchants at only 150% markup. these amps are mostly excellent and have nice casting speeds.

I put those amps on about 3 days ago and not one of them has sold yet!

I stopped reselling jewelry over q100 cause no one ever buys it.

Player events have been slacking alot as of recent, but more since this event started. But even during this event my own guild has run our regular pub nights and once this event is over we'll get back to our knife fight events again. Who knows, we may run more, its all a matter of time.

I agree with you on the result but this is far from any player gameplay (even the pro-pvpers.
Sorry, but noone was "forced" to behave like a 5 year old, with the brains of a primate.
*shakes head*

I craft heavy armor and it takes lots of mats to lvl each piece. Just getting all my pieces up to q 200 takes alot of dig time. My Guildies are needing armor higher than i can caft atm. Combine that with wanting to lvl anything else it does not give crafters much time to craft items for the venders. My advise is grab a pic and start digging.

Man i am glad i did not start crafting jewelry.

The merchants were lacking even before the new PVP land was opened, now it's just pathetic.

Look to your guild for equipment, if they can't equip you you may want to find one that can.

I've never bought anything decent from a merchant, they're just for selling to people not in the know or for selling materials. The real game is about having a network of contacts or having enough different crafters in your guild. I guess someone with access to this equipment could clean up if he sold it to the merchants, but then there is the annoying crafter label. Crafters should have the option of turning this off if they don't want hassling.

There is also the bazaar area of this forum with auctions or where you can ask about a particular item you're interested in buying/selling.

In case you haven't noticed, there's been a massive Kami/Karavan conflict happening for the past month! Most people ARE working together (sort of) on either side to build temples. We've worked closely with about six other guilds. People are busy on this and all Kami/Karavan followers *should* be in the Old Lands helping. (OOC it's not for everyone though :p )

As Kostika said, we've held two bar night events since this started and there are a few trips planned by various groups. Everyone can go hunting, raiding kitin nests, partying once these temples are built. That is unless, due to people not helping, the Karavan build more temples and enslave us all or Ma-Duk consumes our souls ;)

So cheer up it could be worse - when it's over you could soon have Beast Rashan cracking a whip over you while you're forced to dig your daily 'donation' to the gods...

I'm sure now the temple building has finished things will settle down and some form of normality will return and maybe some players who left will return. The merchants have been very quiet with stock since Episode 2 began as a lot of the crafters put their levelling on hold to dig, fight or craft for their cause, other homins who used to contribute a lot simply left. Any good items that did appear have been snatched up very quickly. Sourcing a good crafter for your needs is the key. I have many regular customers who buy jewels and sometimes weapons from me. Relying on the merchants is more a temporary/emergency option when your regular crafter is unavailable imo and of course there is always your guild or the bazaar section on this forum, where many crafters advertise their skills.

Treks are still happening, but not on a large scale, myself and others have escorted numerous new players to other lands and there is a world tour planned for the 26th November where the primary aim is to visit each land and get the tp's for each city.

A little patience is all that is required methinks
