Welcome to the game! Come to the mainland! Come to the Lakelands and enjoy our beaches. Atys is a big place, lots to see. Some pretty fine folks too!

Jena and Ma-Duk (our gods according to lore) are having a little spat and it's draining our resources keeping the two appeased. But don't worry none about that... when the time comes Jena will call upon you if you're ready. Or Ma-Duk will come to you in a dream and you'll wake up in the goo somewhere wondering how you got there... But enough about that!

Have Fun! Help Others!

Well, Atys is a big world and people tend to go to higher zones once they have gained a few levels. I would suggest checking the guild forum, they often guve a few names you can try to contact. Those people should generally be willing to help you out.

And like I said, try giving Arrya a tell, I promise she will respond kindly.

Oh yea, Manya has made me think of one more ?...and then I'm done (btw, thanks for all the responses). Are most players European? I'm from the state of Mississippi in the US...maybe it is a time zone thing. Maybe not many players from CST.

Unfortunately that might be true. Ryzom didn't manage to gain much attention in the states. No reason to despair though, there are surely a few people from your own time zone around as well. And on weekends the nice europeans might be online at your time as well.

and week nights as well, my work would hate nevrax if they knew it's why i was tired ;)

best advice i could give would be to join a guild. It's a quick way to meet lots of people, and see something of the game. Check the guilds board for some idea's, lots there have links to forums where u can say hi :) (Pyr is in Fyros lands so check those first)
