What would You do if Nevrax would remove all PvP from this game. Would You just say notting and cancel You account or say someting here in forum what's wrong about that situation?
I do agree that some people are taking it too far. The current direction is not ruin this game, just changing the game someting what make's it unplayable for some people. They are not happy and they don't wanna leave with quietly, because they have put so much time and fait to this game.
If forum admistrators think it's too much or not wanted, they can always stop it.

R2
The second the addon arrives Ryzom will have a freedom not seen in massively multiplayer games (since MUSH'es was popular?). I am a fairly new player guilded in one of the oldest organisations; Evolution. I know the addon in the hands of creative talents of many likeminded (well the members of Evolution is anything but likeminded, but you get the point) people would make this game shine like a newpolished Mecedes Benz.
I expect hordes will join in as soon as it arises, the higher powers will find it close to impossible to recruit warriors for their quarrels. From what I understand the modules created by players will be accessible from all three servers. Watch your seats, it's going to be crowded!
Now, please don't tell me that R2 is still X weeks/months away. It's in production, it will arrive and it will again change the game as we know it.
And the game is fun today! I admit I'm a bit jealous of you old betatesters, but only because of the unpredictabilities at the time. R2 will bring that back. The game will not die.

Its what I'm holding out for.
An exodus to a whole new set of 'new lands'

Completely wrong, READ what that newbie wrote. He says it two times: He is leaving because he sees other people complain. Besides: he didn't even know the old Atys, he hasn't even left the noob island yet!

read this very, very slowly:
THERE ARE LOTS OF PEOPLE HAVING FUN PLAYING RYZOM
THERE ARE LOTS OF GUILDS WHOOSE NUMBERS ARE GROWING AND NONE ARE LEAVING FROM
THERE ARE LOTS OF NEW PLAYERS AROUND
Please stop this constant crap on the forum, it is utterly unproductive which ever way you look at it. What gives you the right to try to ruin my game, because that is what this is.. You dont like the game, find another ffs. you dont have the right to try to put everyone else off playing and make newbies run in terror with these posts. What are you thinking? (and i use the term lightly)
I am sad when good people leave, but thats what happens in life. People come and go but life carries on. Try to apply this philosophy here.

I am in the noob island and while basicly deserted, am enjoying the digging , crafting (vs WOW) and combat. BUT I am not a PvP or RP to any great extent and by the looks of the complaints in this and other threads guess I will be going somewhere else ***SIGH*** Had so much hope for this one from the ad's.....
I think you are missing the point of the message. malmar came to Ryzom because of it's difference from the total combat FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT PvP, FvF, SdS, alphabet soup games. I myself came here after max leveling one character and almost another in City of Heroes. The total lack of forced fighting WAS what drew me here, not the PvP arena! I could dig, and craft, fight if I wanted to. And most importantly explore all that Ryzom had to offer.
The point is, that the execs at Ryzom central see the WoW, CoH, new CoV, etc etc as being successful and rightfully wanted a chunk of that pie.
Somehow I think Nevrax lost sight of that.

wonder how often i'll be seeing that, tbh, stupid argument. the pvp we are seeing incoming now was planned for quite some time, at least two years this month, and has nothing to do with the other games.

And what else was planned two years ago?
What has the game developed in and gained a reputation for in the meantime?

The fact it was planned and never came, ment we got to play a game that we really enjoyed, now its here and more comming .... people are just saying now its not the game that they want to play anymore. Simple really and just my opinion.

I do agree with Rushin. Of the people I know in-game only about 10% post here regularly. Of the other 90%, some like EP2, others don't, no one has said that they are leaving because of EP2. The biggest complaint that I hear is how the forums have turned so dark and ugly. I think that postings many flaming rants and constant threats to quit is very irresponsible, particularly in view of Nevrax's financial condition. You are surely driving some new people away. You may succeed in killing this game not only for yourselves but also for 10 other players who invested alot of time and love playing in Ryzom. Your views are well known. There is no good reason to jump on every thread to insult PvP players as gankers and post some dire warning of quitting with a protest avatar. This player base always prided itself on being mature and intelligent. I'm not seeing alot of evidence of that lately. Please think about the consequences to your negative posts before clicking submit. Thanks.
P.S. Neun, I think that you are insulting Xavier with your fictional sig. Is that a nice mature thing to do?

I knew PvP was coming. I'm annoyed and angry that its coming in such a way that ALL content is based around it.
