I agree totally.norvic wrote:>snipped<
Neva, Neva, Neva... this is the exact problem with the current PvP for people who would enjoy defending their land or faction. Me as a lvl 151 basically I am relegated to healing and that is it. (from way in the back) As any of the 40 lvl 250 Nukers can take me out in 1 or 2 casts or 2-3 whacks from a lvl 250 melee. What fun is there in that for the majority of players?forever wrote:I really think this could be fun; it gives the high level players something to do.
The problem is it seem a lot of the players now are not into this sort of game play. I think we will lose players to this change, I just hope we get enough new players to keep the game alive.
So is this "consensual" too? If I don't want to engage in PvP, I am now limited to where I can go?!? Yeah.... See, I really like the travelling/exploring part and collecting TP tickets. So now I'll only be able to go the jungles by starting just outside Zora (since I have a slightly positive Karavan fame)? No more hunting outside Min Cho?article wrote:The first thing to keep in mind is the role of the PvP flag. You will only be affected by the rules and effects described in this document if you choose to enable it. This way, if you don't want to participate in the PvP conflict, you will be able to stay out of it you will only be affected by the availability of respawn points and teleport tickets. However, there will be an interesting difference: there will be large battles all over the territory, which you will be able to watch safely.
...
a) Respawn
It is impossible to respawn in a region owned by an opposing faction. It is possible to respawn in a neutral region, a region controlled by ones faction, or in ones own capital.
b) Teleportation tickets
It is impossible to use TP tickets when their destination is an area owned by an opposing faction. It is possible to use TP tickets in neutral areas, areas controlled by ones faction, or in capitals.

We are perfectly aware that PvP isn't something which will be interesting for everyone. However, we can only do one thing at a time: the focus of Chapter III is clearly on PvP, to provide the gameplay basis of the storylined war, and provide content for those willing to engage into PvP.mrshad wrote:We are loosing players due to the heavy handed PvP-Content linking, and the complete neglect of the possibility of a faction that has nothing to do with either Kami or Karavan.
The Nevarax Solution? MORE PVP!
