fearing kinchers do seem to go towards the kara 90% of the time, not sure why but for me as a kami its funny. If its a bug or just kara's taste nicer it should be fixed.

it's player vs player area, not player vs player+their pet mobs.
thos who drag aggro to ppl in PvP are exploiting game mechanics to "win" the battle.
also showing that they are too weak to play fair.
exploiting ? nuking mobs from cliff where they cant touch you is not "cleaver use of terran" but exploiting.
same thing on pulling aggro to ppl - you forcing ppl to fight mob instead with you, so you have easyer to beat them.

Honestley, suicide bombers is a part of war in todays society. So given that pulling aggro onto other people in a religous war is nothing more then a correct way of waging religious warfare.
For the record, I am against all forms of pvp in Ryzom. I am only persuing this line of argumenting as a way of showing the PvP loby what the PvK group have had to put up with.
Having mobs attack you midfight makes the battle just about as fair as having a battlegeared homin attack you while digging.
But for some reason when the diggers are attacked it is "all in the name off the war" and not griefing or ganking.
But when the PvP group is faced with something that reduces their fun ingame and their chanses to win the fight it is unfair and should be banned....
Strange how these things work, is it not...

That I whole heartedley agree with you on. And so is nuking Homins through the terrain. If you can't see a homin except from on the radar but you still can target and attack him. That is exploiting.

This is not correct tho. The area contains Kitins does it not? If the Kitins where not meant to be used in battle they would not have been there.
And by that logic killing a Homin in focus gear and a pick is also an exploit. Bechous when he is in that gear and you don't give him a chance of changing to PvP gear you are making it easier for you to kill him. <--- stretching it I know.. but still a semi valid point.

player vs
player
harvesters are player, gank them all you want.
training aggro is exploiting game mechanics to win unfairly.
why do you train aggro in the first place ? too chicken to fight fair fight ?
but i think this all falls to deaf ears ;-(

Um I never said that I have ever trained a mob on to another player.. I would never do that. As a matter of fact I have not even invoked a single spell or made a single hit towards another player. As I said in my previous post I am against pvp....
I usually try to train an add to a part where I can die safley and noone else will get the aggro from me. If that means I will get dp I'll happily accept it.
I have however spent a great deal of time inside the new FvF area as a harvester, but latley i find it really booring. Mainley becous I don't like dying very much

But as I have said myself when entering that place I have to accept it, therfore I nolonger will participate in the event at all.
And no you are not talking to deff ears. I understand what you are saying and why. What I don't understand is how you can get training mobs to become an exploit. It makes perfect sence in the setting of this war that suicide missions will take place. After all religious fanatics are happy to sacrifice themselfs in the honor of their god. Seeing it from that angle training mobs on the opposing faction is an honorable deed.
If I disregard the entire setting and premesis for the FvF going on in there and strictley look upon it as a game, such as quake or CS, then yes it is a totally disgusting way of gaining the upperhand. And the ppl that are doing it to give other players dp should have their accounts perma banned.

And the disgusting murderer can not get a rez afterwards.
That is a facet of the issue. It isn't the noble sacrifice of a potential martyr at all. It is a way to drive back the lines of the enemy by cheating. If it is successful, the cheater's side gains ground, he gets rezed and losses nothing, and his opponents get DP for what was, really, a player kill.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
