I won't be fooled into believing that, as a whole, you stand and defend a hominst position while the acts I witness proof the contrary, be it actively aggressing, or enabling others to do so. I may accept the fact that some kamist want peace but don't come to me asserting that you are united in this, because you aren't.
Who has been attacking diggers?

Tell us.

Then Anissa I will find you later and we will speak. I usually insist my guild act as inididuals, but this is one time I insist they listen to me as their guild leader.

I think that this "don't attack diggers" thing is really fabulous. I would have to say that the best time I've had with the Old Lands was when me [Kami] and a Melinoe harvester [Karavan] were harvesting next to each other, totally peaceful. If was great knowing that there was no need to worry about being attacked, and I could just focus on helping my respective faction while the other did the same. (That, and the fact that I have no offensive skills whatsoever.) Harvesters harvest, fighters fight each other, and crafters craft; no loss in faction honor, only gains in construction speed.

I pledge to not attack diggers, and do all I can to stop the kitin menace.

I also pledge not to attack diggers.

And I also would like to point out a way of diplomacy : http://www.ryzom.com/forum/showthread.p ... ge=1&pp=10

I do so pledge as well!

Thoough, I spend most of my time with my own pick in the ground anyway.

I would like to suggest that fighters and healers be given Hominist honor points merely for time spent protecting, even if nothing attacks. That is the hardest task!

Also, careplanners need honor points for their effort and contribution to the construction!

Excellent suggestions Sehraci! What do you think the scores should be? How about 100 pts. for an hour spent mainly either protecting or careplanning?

I discussed about the current matters with my old friend, Rosio di'Angelo in Avalae, a most respected Matisian for his always wise and kind words. I explained him my concerns regarding this pledge, and he urged me not to hurry in my conclusions and to always give the benefit of doubt.

When he asked me if I would adhere to such call, whether I would pledge, I hesitated. 'I am kin to my race and my brothers', I said, 'and a devote follower of Jena'. 'I won't stand digging, being fodder to the Kami integrists who take an agressive attitude'. I explained to him that I didn't consider healers as innocent or non combattant, for they provide the sap and the stamina to their fighters. I went on... 'those harvesters would help their comrades if fallen, and..' I couldn't finish, Rosio had put his hand on my mouth, urging me to be quiet. "Wouldn't you raise your friend, if you saw him lying in the ground?". He kept on talking "ask yourself do you believe in this initiative, do you belive in a united hominkind, against a common foe, the Kitin?. Your devotion to Jena should not affect how you see the other homins" I was more confused than ever. I said.. 'yes,.. I guess you are right....'

So, I sign, with hope, that I am not making a big mistake. I shall not engage in battle unless my life is at risk. Fellow harvester, if you see me dressed in white, fear not, I mean no harm. But this does not mean I will not fight against Kami followers who are also willing to.

OOC: I won't kill homins with a pick at hand, I may engage if they stop digging to heal a fighting homin, and I will take part in this fun FvF huge battles from time to time. I will dig, too, and I consider that other homins may think that I can be nuked, so be it.

Hey I got an idea. They should allow everybody to give THEMSELVES honor points, as much as they see fit. It'll be base on ... the honor system.

HAHA j/k I kid.

I do so pledge.

Not only because I disagree entirely with this 'event' and the way it has been implemented, but also to get my honour points up to those of Amcyr. LOL

hmmm, YES and no...
YES it is a warzone and fighters fights.
YES harvester should be safe.

The war is intense (and can be fun for a few days even tho im not into PvP) but WHY are the hervesters targetable at first....
Its gonna take ages of grinding to build those temples anyway.
And seen the way the war is going (targeting maxi range and nuking) its real hard (especially if u spam space bar and nuke) in midst of the fight to see what your target is actually doing..
That's for the exceptional situation where a harvester is at range..

But yes I pledge as well :)
tho, we sign a war mission, or a craft mission or harvest mission at start.
Making only the fighter attackable will sort everything out...

That is in hypothesis that Nevrax is not trying to get all fighters to gank harvesters......
