Note that following one religion/faction doesn't necessarily mean you agree with or support the war.

This is truly fascinating :) .

Only 72 have bothered to respond so far, but it is precisely balanced; 27 Karavan, 27 Kami, 18 neutral. With no real advantage to being allied with one or the other wing, it is kind of cool to see how the population is alligned :) .

Even more interessting is that its 27:27 and there are 28 outposts announced :D

Bah i don“t care how many times they bring it up, Kami for the people! :) Have i said it before at all? :) However, in my point of view Karavan and all the adherent is scumbags :P Noo but seriously, think about it. The kamis is the only one that restrict the planet from being overexploited for a starter, just think of it for a sec. What do Jena care? She says: " bloody keep forage while you still have some working muscles in your body" The planet gonna convert to a dump in notime with no resources and just a bad environment if the Karavan get a monopoly power over the planet. Just check this equation:

Ki = Kami aligned in the area in %
Kn = karavan aligned in the area in %
A = tolal area on Atys
D = Destruction
TD = Total destruction
PR = Preservation

Planet preservation equation index: PR = (Ki * PR) - (Kn * D) / A
In equilibrium = (Ki * PR) / A = 1 => optimal for the planet
Karavan equilibrium = Kn * D / A = TD

Moustasch,

How can you possibly interpret the Kami are for the people.

The Kami seek a steady supply of homin essence to live off and fuel their powers. They seem to manupulate this power via the flora hence their strong link to the flora, manipulation of the predators keeps the herbivores in check. They do not need many homins to survive off and are happy for a balance of Kitin to Homin as both are then kept in check. A kami win perpetuates this balance thus homins will never defeat the kitin nor grow or progress by restricting materials. We will be merely farmed, kept happy with goals of enlightenment (joining with Ma-Duk) and fear of Kitin.

The Karavan like ourselves seek the resouces of Atys, and also the skills of the Homins. To win means securing a steady supply of resources for their own uses, in exchange they provide the homins with technologies, techniques and opportunity. As one civilisation to another. One important side benefit would be the control/elimination of the kitin too, as they threaten any supply of material.

To attempt to keep both powers balanced or waiting to decide, means us homins live in a hostile and fairly unpredictable Atys of frustrated hopes not greatly changing but merely ebb and flow as the powers wax and wane, an indecision of Atys' fate, that will tear the Atys asunder in endless struggle for superiority.
