The Karavan wish to announce.....

Homins, I bring you the text of the Karavan announcement:

Homins of Atys, we the Karavan, Disciples of Jena, the Goddess of Atys and Mother of Hominity bring a message of great importance. The Goddess has sent us a vision, of magnificent structures in the capitals, proclaiming the Homins of Atys and their struggle to free themselves from the grip of the profane Kami. But the structure is more than a monument, it is a place of learning, of knowledge, where the faithful received the divine teachings of Jena, where armed with such skills and teachings, the worthy of Jena shall become the true masters of themselves and of Atys' destiny.

This is no dream, such temples to Hominity existed in the civilisations of homins before the great swarm of Kitin. These temples of knowledge, Colleges of faith, allowed homins to learn methods to develop, progress to consolidate and pass on to their children the wisdom of the past and present. These monuments to homin achievement will be built once again, the union of the faithful and Jena shall see enlightenment and innovation brought once again to Atys, to purge the twisted view and ignorance spread by the insidious Kami.

It is decreed by Jena that these shining temples shall act as a beacon of learning and worship in all four lands, and accordingly those of you followers of the goddess who hail from the lands of Fyros and Zorai are tasked with the great aim of convincing your governments that the temples of Jena should stand proud in Pyr and Zora as well as the cities of Fairhaven and Yrkanis. Jena asks you to rally together in your capitals and to make your governments aware of the importance of this.

Jena asks homins that are faithful to progress and knowledge to gather materials for the reconstruction of these temple to hominity, such magnificent structure will require materials not in the lands now called home, but the lands that were home to your ancestors, cruelly destroyed by the Kitin. We of the Karavan exterminated much of the Kitin menace to allow Homins to come from subterranean exile to live in pride again, these lands may still harbour the Kitin menace, but the threat of kami terror will be a greater foe. Harvesters will gather materials while homin champions of the faith will guard against aggressors. Materials of differing properties will be required for each stage, we the karavan will have teleporters to allow travel to the locations and to return to the capitals so the temples can be constructed for each of the peoples of Atys to share the teachings of Jena, the Karavan and your ancestors.


Jena will reward those whom prove themselves worthy in such a grand task and also immortalise their names upon the newly constructed symbols of homin achievement, so all who seek knowledge will see who made it possible. The day soon approaches when Atys will be free of the hold the Kami have on homins, the souls devoured by Ma-Duk will be liberated, the followers blinded by false promises will see the light of opportunity. The end of the Kitin menace. The taming of the lands. Civilisations will thrive once more. These temples of learning are but an early step on the road of reasoning and righteousness, to better the faithful for the struggle against the oppressor, and to make the liberation swiftly change to stability and progess. Be mindful the kami will seek to oppose, to maintain their grip on homin destiny, and we must appeal to their followers, the common sense to follow that which will free them from the corrupt words of the Kami's stagnant, heartless dogma.

We will announce when the teleporters are ready and where each of the capitals' temple materials will be gathered to begin the first stages. Take heart homins for Jena will descend from the heavens to greet and aid her faithful. And these edifices of homin pride will surely inspire her as they will any homin. May the blessed light of Jena be with you homins.

It sounds very interesting and I look forward to tonight's Kami meeting. I wonder what the Kami will have us build?

Makes me think of Kami clapping classes largely being populated with handicapped creatures with one arm.
