Indeed, you are correct. We did, at one time, lean towards the Karavan,
and this caused some conflict within the guild.
Eventually, the pro-Karavan members left to form the new guild, Karavia
which later renamed itself to Cara Via, currently led by Loracas.

The current OOC guild/members are decisively neutral.

Aya but at the last kami vs karavan in ToT PR Umbra when we had to rescue the hostages (forgive spelling im lazy) im sure you guys was along with Karavia im sure i remember seeing Sek and a few others from OOC

In truth, OOC's stance has always been one of neutrality. From the very formation of OOC in Beta the following has been our statement of purpose:

"To unite all people of Ryzom into a peaceful and prospering community, where it is good to live and to enjoy the friendship of all. We'll defend these values with heart and soul and if need be with weapons and magic."

In regard to the hostage event, we did have at least one member participate, Basic. Unfortunately, though I was present at the end of the event, I was too late to participate though it had been my intention to do so. And you are indeed correct, that this event took place after Cara Via's formation.

Ya know ya Karavan deep down somewhere you all feal it just a matter of letting Jenas light shine thats all. I will look farward to maybe once again getting a chance to play with the OOC.

I just hope to see you in-game more...I miss seeing you around as much as in "the old days".

Isnt PR all about PvP if you arent prepared to die in there dont dig in there. Also you dont get DP when a homin kills you there so whats your problem ? this is after all an RPG isnt it

Sadly, this was not intended to be yet another PVP thread. PVP is a part of the game, whether some like it or not and I have nothing more to say on the subject. To bring focus back to the point at hand, I am really very interested in knowing faction standings on Atys. Yes, in the end, it will come to war and I want to have a good idea of what we're up against, but the thread itself is not an invitation to debate PVP Thusfar, only one person has tried to take the thread off course and they haven't posted in a couple of days. Hopefully folks move forward and express their beliefs by posting accurate information in the poll and let their stance be known in this thead. Please remember that the replies should really pertain to guild/personal alignment, not a personal crusade for/against PVP.

I was indeed at that event. Lol. The reason I fought on the karavan side was because I wasn't there representing my guild. I stated that in region before I played. I was there to have fun. Picked karavan side because I knew more people on that side. That is all. Now you need only to know that Out Of Cavern is a neutral guild.

In this case, the so called neutrals are also not helping Jena and may suffer from occasional splash damage, just not actively hunted. Your either with Jena or against her...
