Do you use EAX? If so you might have only just noticed the effect of the new eax dll they were testing on the ATS a while back 
havent noticed anything with the sound yet -always had problems with it anyway- but I think the graphics look crisper/cleaner now.
the previous patch did something bad, had 'dirty' transition to near drawing distance.. but seems to be back to its original high standard.
