... quite honestly, I like the way the Zorai walk now. I haven't quite paid attention to how the Tryker males run, and I've seen how a Tryker female sits.
But, back to the Zorai for a moment. I think the walk defines them more as the tribal, jungle-inhabiting people that they are, both male and female. There's no back reference to how they're *really* supposed to walk or run as the Zorai race. It may not be "the same" as before when all races moved the same, but it's really cool to have the difference in how the races move; it makes the enviroment look & feel more "alive".

Never happen. Due to higher specific gravity as opposed to the aboriginal peoples, we are incapable of getting both feet off the ground at the same time, except when adding the force of rapid movement when we run, and even then, it is only a centimeter or two, and not enough to escape the gravitational pull of, say, a platform 30 centimeters from land.bobturke wrote:Yeah but for Cute's it looks kooky! I could never understand the obsession with jumping in MMORPGS. Now I can see the light!

I would have thought this was a relic from years of childhood conditioning - where Tryker children were forbidden by their parents from jumping off the walkways of their villages - instilling an impassable subconcious block that adult Trykers (an Oxymoron, I think) propagate without even recognising.. the barrier is in your mind, free your mind ..thebax wrote:Never happen. As for the other peoples, We have only just got the Fyrosians up off their knuckles (in polite company, anyway), dont expect them to actually leap about gracefully for a couple of generations yet - and thats if they stick to the program and dont backslide

And the Matis, well we probably could if we wanted to, but are much to polite to flaunt such superiority over our friends and allies. It would only lead to resentment and claims of Matis arrogance...
