I'm soon to be a new gal in town as well. 73% of the download is complete and I look forward to playing real soon.

My experiences with mmorpg's include SWG and EQ2. I caught wind of Rysom from a post in a forum and decided to give it a try.

Thanks for the welcome. I have been reading the forums and was aware of a patch and the fact it was implemented in record speed,lol. So, I understand some confused souls will be walking around.

And I will come to the mainland as soon as I get comfortable. Just waiting for the patches to go through.

Something odd did happen when I installed the game. A bunch of icons are now on my desktop. That has never happened to me before when downloaing a game, they are all normally in 1 folder. {Confused}

Just stuff them all into a folder/directory of your choosing. The game runs from there.

I have decided to stop playing Ryzom with this trial account because of the new offer that will be available today.

And on top of that ... my PC blew up

I ordered a new one ... but I will have to wait a few days ... as soon as I have my new PC I will sign up for a new 7-day trial

Yes, u have to watch that red bar carefully, and never let it go all the way down. If it's about to: quickly grab any family member and let them run a care plan for ya... otherwise, you will get hurt! ...
