From experience, you will not give or sell the smaller unit sap crystals. I filled a relatively SMALL sap load of 480 to FULL in about 40 minutes using the five sap per crystals. Other than a small NOSE bleed, it filled it fine, but took forEVER to do it.

SAME dagger filled in less than five minutes using the 20 sap/crystal spell. THIS one I was willing to sell or give to friends. I would imagine that the next one up I would even be MORE free with.

I had a few daggers in my WILD crafting sprees that popped out with an enchantment.. For instance, my Q16 Cold TWO dagger, the damage and speed are good, but the cold two made it a keeper for sure. (I don't have the spell yet, and SURELY not to level two yet, so being able to cough it out at a Kippee, which is IMMUNE to my only spell, Acid, is more than handy.)

I have heard, but not tested yet, that you can enchant ARMOR and jewelery with spells. Imagine HEAL HP click Vest, and Heal Stamina pants, Heal focus gloves and Heal sap boots. Hmmmm this ability gets better and better.

I will get back with you after I get my Mage levels high enough to cast/enchant with these spells.

And I confirm that sap is taken from your sap and the weapon. Sigh, I HOPE this is a bug.

Yup, happens once in a while, usually with some spell equalling your craft level regardless of the mats used...

Almost impossible the way it works now, you'd have to be able to take the jewelry or armor into your right hand... Resistances might be implemented some time, though.

Nope, it works as intended... It simply keeps the non-intellectual classes (the Fighter ) from dishing out a Cold8 in a weapon while he'd never be able to even while he had the spell simply due to not having taken care of his SAP. My opininon...

The sap cost to the users sap bar is = to the cost to cast
before you crystalise the spell max out its time credits, and put in some hp credits if you can, as the casting is instant do what ever you an to lower the sap costs

The sap cost to the weapon is based on the spells cost to ast amount (ie: the scales at the bottem of the spell creation window)

Have you ever read the manual? Page 51 in American/English version, paragraph 2:

... Second, they will not drain sap from your pool; they will instead drain sap from the weapon pool.

So I don't think it works as intended.

Sorry lorgerol, I haven't read it...
Once you mentioned it, I was flipping through my German manual, however (No page 51 existant there ). On page 38 are the descriptions of using and making enchanted weapons. While mentioning that enchantments need some time to reactivate, there's no mention of SAP use anywhere... Maybe it's handled differently on Leanon
Anyhow, I was just stating my opinion on it and while it's been that way since Beta and I hardly heard anyone complaining too much about it I grew comfy with it and see no real reason for a change . It's your right to have a different opinion.
