I hadn't looked into the Lore before I posted that .... oops lol. I still like my Fyros tho but Gildarian is more camera Friendly lol.

Ahhh good I'll download that tonight. Looking forward to getting off the island now. Just need to get used to the system and crafting, magic etc. Haven't really done anything yet except wander around and get my bearings!

Hmmm think i'll be off to the mainland Tomorrow. I'm doing the amber quest at the moment which is on the southern cliffs and I can't even get there as i'm killed everytime I get out of site of the village! Can't even fight back as i'm dead before I can turn and don't have any weapons anyway lol.

Haven't done any quests other than the harvesting ones. One question tho. I assume in order to gain experience in combat you have to kills things? Howe do you actually do that? I didn't start with a weapon and only have my pick but I couldn't attack anything as I received the message that I can't fight with my equipped pick. I did start with an acid skill do I have to use that? Not that there's much I can fight without being killed lol

Easy: unequip the pick, then either unarmed or with some basic weapon you buy from traders go kick some suckling yubo.

Acid spell is used while wearing the magic amps, those big gloves. Just target some beastie and cast the spell until dead.
