Help me someone please. Is appropriate here the same as "highest skill" with the jewels ? I am not sure if i understand the english good enough.

Is ist like: if i have any lvl200 skill then i can wear q225 lights ? No matter what i am doing ? Or is it like: i am lvl200 in foraging so i can wear a 225 light while digging but not while healing if my healing is lower 200 ?

I am fine with first, second would be weird, cause i must change cloth or take cloth off to ress someone.

First is fine with me cause many new players miss a lot of fun with q200 jewels and LA. Its just too easy then.

Check out the screenshot sprite posted in this thread. It shows a pair of L160 light gloves. For the requirement, it says "135 in any skill".

The LA change is confusing, but will probably make sense when tried.

The changes to medium armour (compared to heavy armour) simply blows (best word I can come up with :o ), the amour is lighter, gives less protection and have same requirements, at least with the old system it made sense as an armour between LA and HA.

I have to say this, a change to the system I think have gone too far and have not been thought through, and apparently not listening to the feedback thread.

It saddens me as well when feedback is ignored, or not even asked for. What was previously anounced as the change in armor requirements (i.e. Light required you to have con=1/2 Q) made sense. Now there is no reason to wear medium, except as a costume piece. Another useless skill is born(MA crafting, entire), apparently because the powers that be believe they are omnicient, and need not consult those who LIVE in their world.

OOC (and a little cranky now) :

I don't mind much else, but as a medium armour crafter (who just got HQ plans and is working on getting the other races) I'm a bit dischuffed that they don't have some sort of compensation.

I want people to wear my stuff for more reasons than to look pretty.

Here, here!

MA vest is my avatar's highest crafting skill (at 242), and the other MA pieces are all at 160-172. In addition, I can make all races and all grades. Now I kind of wonder why I invested so many months in it, only to have it rendered pointless.

Well, it DOES look pretty and most of my clients are ladies, so it does have its compensations ;)

Heh, perv... I agree :p

However I had hoped, when I started on that path, that any changes made would actually make it MORE useful, as I couldn't see how it could be made less. I underestimated the management.
