Anyway, let's keep discussing it till the plan is sorted. Our last range event was US afternoon/Euro evening on a Sunday. Comments?
Euro evening on a Sunday is definetely no good choice. Friday or saturday is much better. Its is not only GMT+1 but also GMT+2 or +3.
It takes a lot of people to take clopper hill

Not good when everybody in europe has to get up early on monday.

which mean they will follow you to the end of atys... i think not.
they aggro, they chased you 200/350m, they break combat. hitting them only increases (if any) range they will chase you.

This sounds like a good chance to take revenge.
Because I died several times coming too near to the Clopper Hill.

ok, in
patch 76 it is stated that:
- If you are not engaged in combat, mobs forget you at a 100 to 200 meters range
- If you are engaged in combat with a mob and keep fighting, he forgets you at a 150 to 250 meters range.
ok the 1st point IMO is clear, but the 2nd.. hmm it´s the keep fighting point that makes me wonder, if i hit a mob once, run 50m hit it again then run away,
is the breakcombatpoint counted from the 1st place i hit it or the 2nd?
if it is the 1st then it will break combat at 150-250m from where you engaged it.
if it´s the 2nd/last place, then you could make the mob follow you through all of Ayts if you hit it again and again and again

(and you CAN run while shooting it hehehe)
the patchnote isn´t quite clear on that point

take pistol and some player made ammo, find clopper/goari, shoot and start running. with pistol, i doubth that you can kill it before it leaves combat.
about patch notes.. it they were in paper then they would be useful at least in some situations.

Why dont we all just meet at OO Tp, and then while shouting 'charge' run into clopper hill and see if we can clear it.
Anyone using ele magic, is a big girls blouse.

Well, I was tempted to say any magic, but then a healer monkee would be nice.

I don't understand this part about the mobs not following. As I run my launcher keeps launching, so there is no break in combat. It is only about 200m to the killing ground (one way or another) as we will be 55m+ away from the cloppers. Possibly 60m if someone has max range launcher.
I shoot, run, shoot while still running. run while still shooting and they want to nail my hide to the boss's trophy cabinet. They will follow. The grenades from the launcher are AoE and with the density of cloppers on those hills, I would be surprised if much less than a dozen took a liking to me at a time.
I appreciate the point about Sunday but Friday is also out if we start too early as our US shooters will still be at work. Comments on this & poss Saturdays.

If you run too far from where the mob initially is, it'll break off chase after a while whether or not you're still hitting it. Happens to me often when I blast things with my pistol while running from them.
kurita wrote: aah, that would be a big bonus too, we can give his mats as commemorative pieces to the fair homins that participated, one piece per team and they have to roll a /random 100 to see who in team gets it
Not a bonus, a requirement. The cloppers on Clopper Hill are Clopperketh's guardians. No Clopperketh, no cloppers
