Cutting Aen sets out of the Gladiator event would only make 80% of the players drop out due to not having any set of armour.

and a good set of 250Q Armour can give you 600 Protection on it unlike the 480 on your Aen and up to +3 Parry on each peice aswell as 125HP.

Aen does have +4 but overall its not that good, the +7 does give a bigger advantage but you can still be beat if you use your head correctly.

What will be banned next? Pike because amrour has no effect on it?

For me the problem is I can get hold of a +2 parry set with a certain amount of pestering people, but it's highly unlikely I'll ever have the +4 parry Aen set. My playstyle is about interacting with people and relying on their skill (crafting/harvesting) and my bargaining rather than waiting for the spawn then nuking her and 2 of her guards next to the portal. Like others, I'm not even that happy that the best armour isn't player crafted.

So that's 12 less parry I'm going to have whatever my level. The 120 extra boosts that a full set of q250 (which I can't wear) have are neither here nor there and the advantage for a lvl 175 melee in Aen vs. regular are enormous.

If 80% of people are going to leave (nice figure, you can prove anything with statistics, 94% of people know that ) then 80% must have the Aen set. If they have to use regular armour then their fights against each other shouldn't be affected that much and it gives the other 20% of us a fairer chance. Also, a potential 400% of people NOT in the contest might actually enter now they know THEY stand more of a chance.

I didn't call for this to be banned but not owning a set I'm not going to vote against it. If the Aen set isn't so uber then what have people got to lose by it not being allowed?

Anyway, at the end of the day this tournament is for entertainment only. Most people (ie anyone who isn't level 250) go into this for fun. Anyone above me could probably beat me naked (ooer) so if the Aen armour stays I won't be crying and quitting the tournament

DT, I've fought with Locky.. later (i had 7 days to accept challenge), i assumme you dont saw this fight.
Locky won without using melee aura (i 've used, MA and etc), Selfheal, and etc...(only WarCry in fight end, when i had almost no HP) and after fight she had more than 50% HP .... other 50% she used for credits (i almost dont hit her with max accurate..using 250 lvl and weap)

You did the same thing that Electrometrix does in the Matis leagues. You like to fight when it's someone you can beat, but when you enter a ladder you are subject to fight anyone on the ladder. I challenge Electro often and I get ZERO points for it... He evades me for a melee fight all the time but challenges the easy guys any chance he can... I don't challenge him for points, only to quiet him

I only pointed out that Anissa was in error about you not being in the leagues and I also know that I was there when you declined a fight. Lockheart is a PITA, but a hella good fighter... you got to take your lumps as well as your wins. I learn more from a loss than a win in PvP/Duel as anyone that has fought me will tell ya... Beat me and you make me better...

Kos to beat a Master Pikeman with a sword requires skill, Such as why use heavy armour? Use more stam credits and less HP credits lots of stuff like that.

No matter what result I will still fight in the gladiator event due to I do it for fun not to win.
