just weapon q and ammo q and your range level if you using higher q ammo then your current range lvl.
i'm pretty sure that using q20 gun with q250 ammo will make same damage as q20 ammo (maybe not _that_ bad, but keeping your weapon's q higher/same as ammo q is best)

When I make the ammo it has 2 values:
1) The value I can do at my lvl &
2) The value it can do when used by a ranger of equal lvl to its Q.
As an example: my launcher ammo is Q120. I can do 480 dmg (to main target) but the max dmg for a lvl 110 (I assume) ranger is 860.
When I load my launcher the stats are still the same.
I have checked this with the rifle as well and although I can do less dmg than the max when I craft, I can only do up to that max. No modifier seems to alter it apart from an increase of a few hp dmg as I increase lvls.
I am lvl 53 in 2h range.
I assume that the modifier expected from the rifle does not apply atm.

Thom, I think ...
type and quality of guns = range
type and quality of bullits = damage
type and quality of homin wielding = funness

type and quality of gun also affects speed of fire.

the q of the gun lowers the q of the ammo it shoots, so need a higher q gun, to get the most out of that q180 ammo.
And what Zry said is the truth, but what it is supposed to be, not what it is now. There are similar problems with stats on 2-handed weapons, I do believe.

5) Shunafyr has accumulated a heck of a lot of mats for the safari. He is thinking of a Sunday about 14:00 us & 19:00 uk. It would be heartening if more people showed your enthusiasm after all the work he has put in. Last time we spoke he had 5,000 mats for ammo & guns. It is possible this Sunday coming if enough Homins want to take part. We could do with some crafters as well to help churn out guns & ammo but both Shun & I can do up to 130/140.
6) Haha. The answer is yes. Are you volunteering to supply the supreme mats? On the practical side, every 10 lvls you upgrade your wep. It should normally last at least that long unless you get it from one of those back street traders that are using copied components.
About 5: I am looking forward to the safari. Some weeks ago i posted about a similar idea. Not much response from readers. But i am sure a lot of peoples will be there. I will try to bring as much as possible of my own bullets

Where will the safari take place ?
About 6: Well, the guns do degrade. But not too fast. This is relative. And a EXE does longer then a choice gun

. If you have the mats, then why not using them. It gives you more range and more damage and more HP. If you dont have the mats, then dont care about it. A good rule is (for me): Solo = good gun, team = any gun will do

As far as I know, Offlaviks Oasis has been mentioned but no decision as yet. So to kick off a supplentary topic I would suggest Matis North border fort because of the varied mob levels within 4 or 500m. In agro you have gibbas, ocyx, kincher etc and a good selection of non agro as well. All with a nice handy fort to run to when all else fails.
Suggestions welcomed.

Is the Firing Rate stanza working? And if so, how much is it actually effecting the rate of fire?

Of course it is working. Dont ask me of how much. Never used a stop watch but it is remarkable. The problem with it is the drain of stamina.
BTW: Anyone knows where the stamina 6 brick is

. I have 1-5 and 7,8,... I checked all
spells at the trainer, but i could not find brick 6 :/ Funny like it is, brick 6 would be my optimal solo brick
