To fix the situation there needs to be a DoT effect on people's money bins. I have a pretty good feeling outposts will have the potential to run everyone dry.
Of course some people will just abstain from participating and continue to amass wealth, and there's really nothing you can do about it.
Not if you make 200+ bricks cost 1 000 000 000 dappers! Hahahhaha!

Ok so probably too late now to do anything for any of the current in-game skills, items, mechanics, etc.
But if they add any new tree branches or game functionality in the future (like they did with the DP Pact), I strongly recommend attaching dappers requirement for it along with any other requirements (such as skill points).
And then again, we'll also have to see if Outposts will also create a nice money sink.

Consumables would help, and have been mentioned/promoted before (the easter eggs).
RP items, clothing, all good 'sinks' as are occasional items (like the candy canes).
Additions to guildhalls and apartments. More pet options.

larwood wrote:PvP fee! Everytime you GANK another player you get fined.

And that fine is credited to the person you PK'ed. (unless they engage in the fight of course).
And over time it increases at an exponential rate.... so the first ganking... you get fined so much, then it multiplies by 2 the second time, then 3 the third time, then 4 on the fourth... etc..etc..etc
and when you run out of dapper, it takes stuff from your bag (items/armor) then when your bag is empty, your packers, then apt, then GUILD HALL.
THEN you get DP, and its all compounding by now.
I think it'll be a great idea! Keeping PvP with people who want to fight back.... and stop those friggin players from PK'ing those who don't want to fight.
That screams exploit/abuse.

Heh... I agree. Pk'ers do just that. Exploit and abuse other players.

I wonder... where can I find a PK zone? there are plenty of PvP... but that would entail more than one player fighting another. I just wanna find a good ganking/griefing/pking zone where I can get killed, and dont need to fight back.
Edit: Sorry Fyrx... didn't mean to take your dapper thread off topic. I just thought my PK Fee was a good idea. (you can see the ripples it's caused... some peeps don't wanna pay the fine.

Ah well, sorry mate, I'll not take this further off topic.

and here begins the 15 page thread on anti-pvp/pvp arguments.
If you don't want to get killed, don't go in the PvP zones. If you go in them, and ignore all of the warnings, then you have no one to blame but yourself.
