And not all mages wear just light armor. :D

I almost always have at least one piece of medium on and usually two, sometimes more. I like the extra protection it gives when I allow myself to get too close to the action, which I often do....

But then again, I'm an afflictionist. I don't have the huge credit costs of double missiles so the little bit of penalty isn't even noticeable, particularly if I'm linking and don't even need to spam my spells. Though I can see it being an issue for nukers and healers. (although not yet for me if I nuke or heal, I have extra sap and regen from my higher lvl DA, hehe)

Oh, and it cuts down on space in my bag too. If I want to switch to melee, I put on the rest of the medium armor set (or maybe have a mixed heavy/medium melee outfit), and dont' have an entire second armor set to lug around. Basically sharing armor between my melee and mage outfits. hehe ;)

mmatto wrote:That is incorrect. :) q100 armor is only example where 90% formula holds true.

And to actually add something to this discussion, I would like to point that good light armor can give bonus to your dodge and heavy armor bonus to your parry. If you want to be mainly mage, look for light armor that gives dodge bonus +2 per piece.

Thx I was tired your right. I was trying to keep things consistant HA is not 10% but 10 below the level the armour up to 250. :o
