And Oshi had just taken off for a week's vacation. Maybe someday there will be enough NA players so we can have our shard back. The present situation, quite frankly, sucks.
I know it's easy for me to say as i am in euroland, but since the server merge the events team have done a pretty good job i think of either running duplicate events or picking a time when most can be on.. Admittedly this would have been better on a saturday but give them a chance, if there were no problems found during the invasion i'm sure we'll be seeing more at times to suit as many players as possible.

I got home from work at about 7pm Atlantic time, and could find no sign of any event, just a couple of rumours... I hope that next time they make an event that more people can share in. As I told Booster (who also found the time to be wrong, it being too late for him in Eastern Europe) whereas the EE players have done alot to make the old Windermeer players feel welcome, I've not felt the same effort from the CSR staff. Announcements are still always only in BST (how hard would it be for them to convert it to a couple of the main zones round the globe?), and events usually fall at best time for BST players. I realize it is an enourmous challenge to accomodate a server with members around the globe, but a few duplicated events has not really satisfied our need to belong...
For instance, I've longed for some RP, but with little warning, lost the story I had been following, and was dropped in the middle of a history not my own. While I've been able to pick up some of Arispotle's story (with the help of a few generous players) I am still disoriented, and have sometimes begun to feel it's pointless to try.
I still have lots of love for this game, and have fun everyday... but neither of those come from what Nevrax & Jolt are doing at the moment.
I'm sorry, this is the most negative post I've made about this game, but I'm disappointed & disillusioned. Features like Outposts won't change these feelings, only a change in the way the community is made whole will.

As you might know the EE server is the catch all server, in the sense that it is the server which is host to nearly anyone but the French and Germans (speakers).
That means that the server have people playing from Australia and Asia, over Europe to America (the continent).
Which, of course, means that if one event is run, it is impossible to schedule it so that everybody can join.
To help counter that, some events are run twice*, but I think that is down to how many people Nevrax have on hand to run it.
* Doesn't make any sense storywise, but that is probably nitpicking since I don't remember any such events haveing opposit outcomes.

I agree with WackyAnne except instead of posting it in a specfic time zone why not just say the event will start in 1 hour or something to that effect. That way no one has to do the math to figure out what time in thier homeland that the event will take place and find out that oops I was off by 1 hour and miss the event.

*hugs rushin* I appreciate how difficult it is for everyone - from Nevrax on down to the least homin - to schedule things and try to suit everybody. It just can't be done - hence the "sucks" comment. There's more I want to say but none of it is constructive so I'll stop it here.

Perhaps they came in peace?
Perhaps they we're expecting the return of Jena today and realised they had calculated their dates all wrong?
Perhaps it was the Kitin Beach Party and the kitin came out to dance the night away only to have it crashed by a whole horde of dangerous little food morsels?
Who knows the way of the kitin?
But i'd be mighty pissed if I was one of their parents and i'd just had a few of my children slain!
