You know, I got a very quick response emailing support.

Also, the people you are addressing have asked that these topics not be posted, and specifically frowned upon "bumping." Personally, I agree with them.

Instead of criticising someone, you could have possibly used your knowledge to obtain an answer for all of us that are interested in this topic and been much more productive.

Thank you for your interest but the results im after is to get a response from someone that can answer my question. Im not really looking for replies from anyone but a GM. Since they reply here all the time to many different posts, I came to the conclusion that this might be a good place to get one.

Can't we all just get along? Let's be civil, shall we?
I think what jdiegel was trying to say is have you tried emailing support about the issue? If not, it doesn't hurt to do that as well. Perhaps then you will get a response.
Also submit a support ticket in game and ask about it.

Just a few suggestions to try and help.

Have you submitted an in-game support ticket as well?

We are only too aware of this frustrating bug *sigh*. Many are in the same boat as you are and we are trying to fix this bug as quickly as possible so that we have happy players with empty (or emptier) bags :)

The most expedient way to get a response from a GM is to submit a ticket. GM's occasionally do troll the forums, but with so many threads it's hard to read all of them in the time they have to do this. So, please use the ticket system in game if you are concerned about a particular bug, it's the fastest way to get a response from a GM.

Thanks and good luck! :)

It's been said elsewhere but bears repeating. GM responses have been fantastic. You folks all deserve a huge thank you.

I dont understand why Nevrax... and certain zealous fanboi's frown upon people posting and bumping threads that pertain to Bugs. Especially when every single Bug post that has been replied to by a GM recieves unadulturated gratitude from the player base. Nevrax responding to bugs, and other issues and letting us the players know that there reading and paying attention, has emboldened and invigorated the player base. Making all of us feel very pleased with the support from Nevrax.

To tell us to stop posting bugs.. and to stop bumping these topics is counter productive to building a player community that is not Hostile to the developers.

There is no Bug forum.. some of these issues need to be aired so that others playing the game know its not just them. Some players think they made the mistake.... when all along it is a real bug inthe game.

Censoring of any kind in a game forum... especially a MMORPG forum only garners distrust and anger in the player community. Granted Out and Out flames are not what i am advocating.

I personally do not get the position of telling us to not post bugs here.

Coming from tech support myself, I can give you a simple answer for it: Fear. Fear of losing a report amid the hundreds of posts in these forums. Both the in game ticket system and the out game email support ( technical-na@ryzom.com ) assign and track submitted tickets so there is no fear of losing a report.

My entire purpose for this post was to get information that could be publicly displayed here to help ease the community, as well as give them faith that its being delt with.

Now people that read this post can see that the issue is of serious concern to the developers and will feel much better about its existance, by being edcuated of its existance, and the knowledge and comfort of knowing its going to soon be gone.

Many thanks for your replies GMs to this thread. I dont believe in lack of communication. It only stifles progress.
