Try the the Fyros Heavy Armor Helmet for the Dune Gas Mask look.

Girls can use Matis black Medium armor for a black leather kinda look!

Welcome to Atys my Freind, as Killiane has mentioned Ranged is my main skill I enjoy it very much even though will cost you time in ammo crafting and digging and you are down on damage to the spell chuckers and the Blood n Thunder guys. From your post though i dont think you come across as a power lvler so go with what you enjoy.

One of the main advantages we have on Atys is that we are not railroaded into anything so if i am out hunting with my freinds or want to do missions but dont have ammo in stock i can pull my sword out or heal my freinds as the situation dictates.

Another suggestion would be to join a guild.
My own guild is multi-race and very supportive.. At least they didn't plaster duct tape over my mouth when I asked them millions of questions. It also has many members at all sorts of levels meaning theres normally always someone around your level to team with.

Give the site a look over and have a look at some other guilds too.

Well, I played for a couple of hours last night....it was incredible. ^^;;

While the interface is a little clunky at times - and Stanzas confuse the living bejesus out of me - I got down to zomgwtfpwning little baby critters and harvesting....stuff pretty quickly. Also one thing I found interesting was people in the newbie area actually HELPED others.

Now I understand things a bit better, I think I'll be re-rolling in a bit and making a neater go of things. So far it's enjoyable, but I'm trying not to fall into the trap of getting too enthusiastic (I'm failing miserably, it goes without saying).

Now...time for me to go and get eaten by whimpering dog....things.
