I must say that _personally_ I like current way much better. Prepatch 1 sounds like that you must grind to 250 to do any PvP at all as you can't counter lower lvl with greater numbers. Also, I like the fact that characters won't be gods at lvl 250. It sounds nice first, but I suspect it would be _major_ boredom when one melee level is at 250.
EDIT: sorry about offtopic
mikos, you have to understand that the attack level of a mob versus your defense uses different formulas than the attack level of another character versus your defense. so this is not a PVP issue
My point is that while a level 50 hard kipee can hit a high level character, but a level 50 player has a rather difficult time hitting an awesome zerx. the disparity used to be tremendous, but i think it was toned down a bit, as i've still been able to get about a 5% hit rate using a level 60 skill against level 140

How about fixing it so that lower level player characters would hit more easily higher level mobs. This would make hunting with big parties more feasible than it is now as team could go for bigger mobs and still manage to kill it utilizing greater numbers. Of course, at very high levels there won't be high enough mobs for big parties currently but it would still be nice for first 200 levels.

I use blind (offensive affliction) or stun (defensive affliction) to let lower level melee in my teams hit higher mobs. That's a major reason I'm working those two skills.
For lower level elementalists, we usually just make sure there are enough damage dealing people to actually kill the mob, sufficiently beefy tanks to survive each kill, and we have the ele mages call out when they hit - or we just tone down damage a bit to slow the kill enough to let them hit.

I meant a big group that consist only of lower level people and everyone would be able to contribute their fair share in killing high level mob. Stun helps there too, if you manage to land it on much higher level mob.

My opinion is that aflliction spells are currently too weak except for powerleveling noobs while out of party. Work on it all you want, but if you are high enough to consistently maintain the link then you are too high to hunt that mob. 30 levels below you may occasionally get a link but it wont last long. It leads to a frustrating oops, my i recasted and broke my link alot...
Of course Itachi is the authority on this as far as I know.
However when you are doing something such as hunting a boss mob or exploring in a team/army affliction can be more valuable than a couple nukers.
