maybe a bit too late to post this, but ...
i would like to see animals get hurt by the same things that you as the PC does. Having a yubo go 'mad' (as in the spell) at having a source blow up in its face while sniffing you would be priceless. . . and if its an aggro, then ur source may well kill the aggro for you =)
andi think it was brought up on the Q & A that the devs said carnivores won't attack other NPCs because of play balancing issues... or exploits.. but imo, aggroes don't attack certain animals because they know they'll lose in a fight right? ditto for PCs, i reckon. If you're a l100 fighter wearing heavy armore, having a viscious? ragus nipping at ur heels is more a nuisance than life-threatening. better for them not to attack at all, and cause angst for that l30 mage running along 200m behind you =)
