Firefox rocks, but when im on a laptop and I am concerned with battery life, IE uses a lot less resources at the moment. They both have their uses ^^

The same thing would apply to firefox if that was the most used browser. Obviously the hackers are going to create trojans etc for the most used browser, not the least used one. Doesnt mean firefox is any safer

But Firefox has an active development team behind it that will combat anti-security activity. It is also updated and improved regularly. IE has neither.
