I don't want to judge guildhopping, but blaming someone with lvls above 200+ that he kind of 'stole' items from the guild is more or less a joke.

At his lvl he must have tons of dappers, and the guild can expect to get dappers or items back. No need to communicate it on the official boards.

Well, it's only the reputation of an ingame name, which can be affected, but it's still worth to protect it.

A joke? I consider those actions to be dishonarable, and therefore not a laughing matter. I have posted this here primarily as a favor to guilds who might be considering this homin for membership, by way of additional insight into the quality of her character. I have no doubt, given that some guilds are desperate for members, that she will find someone willing to take her regardless.

On that note... I do laugh at how your guild and others do seem fairly desperate... answering every post in this thread.. Cracks me up really...

I view with skepticism any guild that invites every player no matter what and questions them when they cannot provide to back to other homins, whether it be sumoman or otherwise.

If the standard to join is higher, the quality of the new folks is higher...

TBH, we have got rid of many folks like him, just like you did... But we dont pimp everyone or anyone... If all they are is a musclehead, they are a dime a dozen... Team/Guild dedicated folks following a plan are rare... that's where we make our money.

So, what gives with this situation then? I've personally know Schizm since OB1, I know he has a rather huge fortune of dappers at all times, I know he's given me some very high quality gear before.

Has anyone actually spoken to him about this since the 'incident'? This doesn't sound like Schizm to me at all, and as someone already mentioned - why would he need to beg for equipment when: 1) He has rather high levels, and can get cash/mats in no time; 2) He knows a lot of the high-level crafters on the server, and should have no problems finding the equipment he needs.

He's always helpful, and willing to hunt/explore/whatever with friends. He's also perfectly honest, in my experience.

I know I'm not involved in this debate, but this just sounds wrong, in fact it sounds like yet another misunderstanding.

This is the Guild thread. People post here when dealing with guild matters, and most frequently quild membership.

Keoni, and the other guilds that have RESOPNDED, to players requests for a guild are doing exactly what this thread was intended for.

You my friend have done very little of what this thread was intended for... hijacking, flaming, spamming... infact no thread was created for those things.

So, please leave your counterproductive and un-necessary comments in the trash, and not plague the thread with their negative nature.

That goes for everyone.

Many guilds are looking for players, ones that are excited about the game and want to have fun. Just because we, and other guilds are responding to posts about people looking for a guild does not mean they are desperate. Does a post = and invite? No. You will learn that many guilds look for players and then sort out who will fit best when considering time-zones, player styles, and such.

If I were a new player I would much rather deal with someone who has the curtesoy to contact me and help me out with answers to my questions and such, than someone who just spams his guild invite in his 3-page sig.

Back on topic... Schizm, sorry to see you leave. I hope you find somewhere you want to stay... but be careful because when you turn people out like they mean nothing... you'll find few loyal friends in the end.

I contend that my post was directly related and pertinent to the topic of "Schizm is looking for a guild"... Also, when I attempted to move the diverging topic to it's own thread and carry on what seemed like a civilized disagreement to me, lawrence saw fit to close that thread for "offensive content." So, I'm thinking it doesn't pay to try to unhijack a thread, once it's started off in that direction.

Perhaps a CSR can enlighten us all on this. The game is moving towards a more central PvP/GvG element - so the idea that there shouldn't be some degree of strong disagreement in the forums seems absurd to me. Clearly there must be limits and standards, but I fail to see how that other thread contained "offensive content"--from either side of the debate.
