huh? An auction is an auction...... if someone bids in the last few minutes and wins there is nothing wrong with that. Thats why its an auction... duh! Theres nothing to stop anyone else banging a higher bid in or even bidding higher in the first place to price out competitors.

I really dont understand all these negative comments or maybe I missed something <shrug>

Yes, in real life an auction is an auction, where people are present at the time and through the entire time of an item being sold. Online however, people cant be expected to sit and wait and refresh their browser every 5 seconds leading up to the last minutes remaining of the time :)

Its common practice to state a rule that any bidding the last 30 minutes will extend the auction time with 30 minutes, or something similar
