OOC????!

I found and joined OOC after I started this game. So far they are a very nice group of people. Very helpful and very courteous. I also noticed that most of them have a deep roleplaying background. Roleplaying is not just a word in Ryzom and I hope it will be more prevalent in the future. I am just glad to have joined this wonderful group and be a part of the story.

Of late I've heard some negative things about OOC in game. Probalby becuase of recruiting efforts being made by some member. I don't know who any of the members are really and know even less of the guild. Sometimes spam in region chat turns people off. hard to tell.

I know for sure that this has not been happening in the Tryker lands. I would definitely step in and put a stop to it if the guild was ever to be spammed in region chat. If there's ever a time when this -is- happening, be sure to contact the guild leaders immediately so they can handle the problems themselves. I know they would not appreciate any member abusing the chat system in the name of the OoC guild without them knowing.

LOL. No I started this guild with several people who had been playing the Mystgame URU: Ages Beyond Myst, on line. Part of it plays in the city of Ae'gura, which was situated in a cavern.
When the on-line possibility was stopped many of us applied for the beta test of Ryzom. Hence the name 'Out of Cavern'. (OOC).
In the early days someone suggested to change the name because of the Out of Character meaning. But we decided not to.

I apologize if that did upset anyone as I was replying to someone's request for information on guilds. And I had followed someone else's information so felt it was OK.

In future, I'll send a tell.

If there are any problems with Out of Cavern guild in game, please send me a tell with the details. Try to remember the name and any pertinent information so that I can address it within guild.
