please correct me if I'm wrong diggin, but you dont strike me as a calm, methodical tester; willing to spend time going over buggy content to help the dev's fix it?

ask the guides how many bugs ive reported in game to date ;P and how many suggestions also

they need as many people as possible to test the outposts they said...

i think that there must be something wrong with the ats for the patches to keep being released with bugs, so surely, i have a right to want to go see whats going on and help with more testing in anyway possible? since my sub along with every other players goes towards the running of it -.-

what people do on the test server is the same as we do on the live.... we play we report bugs we speak with csr and test the bugs to show it working..... so why should it be any diff to what im alrdy doing on the live server? except we get DP on the live server when we have to show some bugs working and the CSR's dont have the power to heal us after or they choose not to use it.... maybe ATS i can show a bug in action without risk of gaining dp for doing the community a favour -.-

Well I'm just going by your posts on the forum, u seem to be interested in getting content/promised features etc ingame right now, with little regard to why they might have been delayed in the first place.

The purpose of the ATS is not to play the game per se, but to test whatever the ats guides have directed us to test (presumably inhouse testing has a schema to ensure basic functionality is still as it should be). I think a problem has been that things have been rushed through without enough testing, following demands of players - and this has had a detremental effect on the stability of the world (ie unforseen bugs) and a slowing of future updates. However even without outposts there is a need for more testers on the ats. u think its hard to find a team on the live servers, its hard to find another player on the ats ;)

totally offtopic now, maybe we should continue this somewhere else?

the reason testing is being delayed is simple.... they arent being tested.. they said 2 weeks closed testing then they would have them on ats ready for player testing and its not happend.. ats is now open after people complaing for 3 weeks to get there finger out, minus the outposts which need to be tested by more than a handfull of devs you cant really test something which relys on thousands of players with just a handfull of devs in a closed room :x

and i dont think this is off topic yet hehe i asked why there was no mention of outposts in her letter as my feedback and its sort of carried on from there :x

And you know this for a fact or are you guessing?

Fact - ATS reopened to test a EAX sound DLL

Here, something to eat :)

Maybe they have to fix apparent problems found by handful of devs before taking in a big team of ATS testers. Otherwise, ATS testers would just spend their energy on finding same problems that were already known and testers would get frustrated because outposts did not even meet quality standards expected at ATS.

they had 3 weeks since the end of in-house testing to deal with bugs/fixes why wasnt it done then?

Guess you have never been late with you homework, and get full marks in every test. It not a perfect world.
