buying a level 60 healer would make soloing possible straight up through level 250, treat it like a mektoub, maybe it could bea cute little kami

ya the one from zora kami tp but hed have to have sap/hp too and be allowed to be healed by the player just have a timer on them so they run out after the end of the timer

hehehe, yes Bodyguards would be nice, SoR would be the first MMORPG to have that option for players.
PS:i know that Diablo had merc to rent but that wasn´t a MMORPG but more Massive Chat with max.8 players to go on a map

Er, you can hire an entire npc team in Guildwars (and nope not getting into an arguement on whether it actually is a mmorpg or not) ... you just auto-split all the loot with them.

i alrdy mentioned legend of mir having them and Rose online

so they woulkdnt be the first MMO even if guildwars isnt classed as an MMO those 2 are

How would hiring mercenaries be implemented as not to affect team play?
I suppose they could disappear the moment you join a team.
And if fighters get them, I want to hire NPC careplanners

And someone mentioned in some earlier thread that he hired npc archers in UO. Not sure if those could be used only for very limited purposes and would not count here.

interesting... i've never used ale with a backrub... usually just gels and creams.... i'll have to try it.
