I had fun killing as many people as I could! Not to mention nuking the delegate :)

I must have missed the part where they handed out drinks.

One of the reason it was fun was because so many people showed up.

Another is that it has a direct link to the Ryzom lore, and we feel like part of the Saga is being unveiled (but I missed the 2nd event and don't know how it end, some sort of misunderstanding?).

Yah, you missit big time Raynes, it was a blast :) It has the tie-in to the lore, it has the conflict, it has the role playing. All the things you have wanted so much, from what you said in the "conflict" thread a while back.

I didn't enjoy the first one too much. The travel times involved made it a protracted affair, and the end result felt a bit disappointing to me. By the second time round, things went along at a much more reasonable pace, and fun was to be had all the way through :) Just a shame it was a little late for me to stay for the whole ending. I could have gone for that drink after a hard days' conflict :/

Partly i think travel times in first were direct consequence about fact that kami party was never chased thru PR. Force like that moves&kills any regular mob on way in seconds so it was mainly daywalk in park untill ToT Zorai gate and karavan factions "ambush".
Elyssah sure made all efforts to buy karavan Homins time to catch us *lol*

Sadly i could not attend to second one, so i only can say anything about first. I'm glad that ye fellas had nice time thought on other too =)

There were couple of smaller battles in north before the main battle near Zorai portal.

in the 2nd part of the event it was a lot easier to see who was friend and foe as the marshals got us all to wear the same title Kami wore Homin and the karavan wore Refugee

the reason the karavan lost the 2nd part of the event was down to the strategy taken by the kami followers ;)

first person to die when we met the karavan group was kulos... if you take away an armys leader they are dissorganised and had no chance of survival which left the path open for syndix to stroll right in

Are you sure the Karavan arn't of this world, because i checked the Karavan Lore and it didn't say they from another planet.

They could be from the sky branches, or some as of yet unexplored region.
they might even come from an area of prime roots. Maybe they don't want us down there because it's their home, and they don't completely trust us yet.

I enjoyed the fact that the story progressed, however minimally, and it had branching points.

Funny thing is in the one big battle I took part in at GoO I managed to kill... 5 zerx. The kami set a pretty good trap right next to a zerx spawn and I was too busy keeping them off nukers to worry about other players :P I hope my waving and bowing of players I knew on the Kami side didn't ruin their immersion btw ;D

Well played Kami! Also Kulos, our guide, REALLY didn't know how to path us - we kept running into pockets of aggro that really slowed us down.

I heard the 2nd one went better; I'm glad :)

I hope they don't lose sight of other types of events though, because there is room for non-pvp events and still being able to further the story. Or is there?

It says Jena came to the planet from another world in there somewhere :P
