I find it hillarious how peple try to explain this as intended behaviour with the change to how long mobs follow you, and to accept it and just use 1 tank.
Its not like melee was a easy skill to level before the patch (well, the problem with getting a team to level it in) but now having more than 1 melee is actually worse than just having 1, as this problem only happens when theres 2 or more melee'ers

We had the same problem killing Vispa in GOC last night, in its native environment where it attacked our puller, who (if I remember correctly) was the only melee at that point.
We did kill it eventually, but it was hitting so fast that our tank described the sound of it hitting as 'popcorn popping' - and it switched so quickly from the healer to the ele mage, to the other healer, back to the tank... we came very close to losing that battle.
It was fun once, but we all agreed to stay well away from Vispa after that.

I did not notice that. I just saw multiple people speculating why this bug took place

There's also another possible bug, unconfirmed by me though, where if you aggro more than 1 mob, and kill them all, you will only get xp for the first mob.
Anyone else experienced this?

It also appears that this bug can happen if you are aiding another creature in defeating a foe, not just other homin's. Happened to me today trying to save a Capryni from a Clopper.

Well, usually this is the case where the capryne has done more damage to the clopper already, therefor you don't have the right to both loot and xp.
Now that I think about it, this is probably what happened to my buddy who reported seeing this bug to me. This is what I am going to assume now, unless confirmed otherwise.

patrolls in wasteland are great for that hehe shame it takes such high lvl people to kill them tho the exp from them wasnt great

There is one other area that this effects that i found out about real quick. I was just pounding the dirt in PR, minding my own business, when WHAM. I was dead. I was alone, nobody else around, was just aggroed. And trust me, I know dying while harvesting....i can last a few seconds with pretty much anything, but these things hit so quick i never saw it coming

new (non) official work-around..
everyone must hunt solo
Ive been hunting solo since the patch.. and doing research on the new DP pacts

, and haven't encountered this bug.
/edit teamed.. and ran into it

watching the damage counts stream off my teammates like smoke

, need to do it again and get some screenshots
I have been killing entire bandit groups, and the xp rewards from multiple opponents do seem to be working ok
