My experiences involving Neun were never all that pleasant, despite me rarely coming into contact with him. Looked very obnoxious in-game, and somewhat pretentious(?) out of it. He just came across to me as a blatant attention-seeker throughout his time here and, with his expletive-filled rant coming out of his alt, Nine, at the started of the temple event signalling pretty much the end of his time on Atys... Well, I was sort of hoping that really was the last I'd seen of him and his characters.

It's a shame really, because I'd known him from his Planetside days. He was BorgUK9of9, my outfit (aka guild) leader on UnimatrixVS and he didn't seem so full of himself in my memories. His somewhat laid back attitude was a key reason as to why I remained in the outfil until the game itself no longer appealed.

Neun was also the reason for my being here in the first place. Naturally he was singing Ryzom's praises on the outfit's forum which encouraged me to try the beta, and I've been around here in some capacity ever since. I thank him for that, as I've had some great times on here, and yet I felt so aggrieved by his presence seemingly every time I crossed him.

Meh. I suppose all it comes down to is that I don't think he was that much of a saint (tongue in cheek or no) and just sought attention in whatever way he could get it. Take that as you will.

I'm sorry. But just seeing this I felt I had to get it off my chest. And I hate this post too :/
